Let your heart become one of boundless
love. Kindle new love with tenderness and affection. Let this
outflow be like that of a fiery furnace that is perpetually burning.
Live a life full of love by reaching out to all – rich and poor
alike. Allow those that you love become the joy of your heart and
you will be like a shining light in the midst of darkness. In our
conflicted world you will be viewed as a flame of hope. It was
Joseph Addison (1672 – 1719) an English poet, essayist, playwright
and politician that wrote, “Three grand essentials to happiness in
this life are something to do, something to love, and something to
hope for.” So work for a lasting peace, love all humanity and hope
that all swords will be beaten into plowshares.
Indestructible Love
View your love as a bridge and pathway to hearts. Capture its true essence and clearly follow the path to all goodness. Be triumphant in your quest and embrace and kiss an indescribable love. By so doing you will discover the light of joy shining brightly like the sun in a clear blue sky. In short, you will become one of many lights of the world that holy saints dream about. After you will say like Hosea Ballou (1771 -1852) an American Universalist theologian and clergyman, “Tears of joy are like the summer rain drops pierced by sunbeams.” Now you will be expressing a profound empathy when touched by love through the tears that will trickle freely from your eyes.
Love Beyond Love
Let love beyond all love be your battle cry. It is the kind of love that seeks only hearts that will be able to contain it. This is complete love that makes the heart burn, as it longs for deeper fulfillment. In relationships with families, neighbors and friends, reach out to your village, community and town and even to the length and breath of the world. This is when you will touch the ecstasy of love that brings true joy and peace. Such is complete joy that an individual can only find in Jesus Christ. It is profound joy of hope and faith. Moreover, this love when it is engulfed by the light of all light will herald hope that touches souls. It was a French soldier, military theorist and commander during World War One - Ferdinand Foch (1851 – 1929) that declared, “The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.”
Power of Love
Love is a dynamic force . Initially, it starts by warming the heart and eventually makes it purely joyful. Such gladness is replete with love and respect for the diversity of the human race. Its fundamental tenets can be found in the Gospels of the Lord. Through the light of faith readers of Scripture are able to view life in new ways. Many will be touched by this faith. It was a Bengali literary figure Rabindranath Tagore (1861 – 1941) that explained, “Faith is the bird that feels the light when dawn is still dark.”
The power of love stirs our imagination and guides us to do the possible and impossible. It reaches out to our animate and inanimate worlds turning them into true bliss. With love all good things and even human suffering raise our consciousness to an elevated plane where mortals will one day become immortal. It was Jesus Christ the creator of this reality that demonstrated this. His sacrifice, death, resurrection and ascension into heaven were glorious with a sublime future. Showing His power of supernatural love was so remarkable that it has become the foundational stone of mankind. Jesus was the stone which the builders rejected that has been made our cornerstone of hope.
It took His humble act, submission and godly perfection to accomplish this extraordinary feat. It is only through faith and grace that we could begin to understand and appreciate this action. Christ is the epitome of the power of love. He was a clarion cry to believers and unbelievers alike to realize this. Initially, there were many doubters concerning His saving grace. Even one of the disciples - Thomas had to touch His wounds to believe. It is however clear that those of faith will be able to express a superb power of love by their belief. “Love conquers all.” A faith-propelled love is the catalyst for a supreme love of all.
